We are an owner-managed family business based in the Rhineland Innovation Park in Grafschaft-Ringen, which manufactures screening and filter technology for industrial production processes. For the IT department we are looking for you as
System Administrator (m/f/d)
About your new role
Your tasks as a system administrator
- Administration of SAGE (ERP system): Support and optimization of the SAGE ERP system, including configuration, maintenance and customization.
- Microsoft Office Administration: Support and administration of the Microsoft Office environment, including license management and customization.
- Programming in VBA: Development and maintenance of automations and macros in VBA to optimize work processes and reporting.
- SQL database management: Administration and optimization of SQL databases, provision of data and evaluations for various departments.
- User support: Supporting users with IT problems, troubleshooting and advice on dealing with hardware and software.
- Server and firewall administration: Responsibility for managing and maintaining the server infrastructure and firewalls to ensure IT security.
What we would like to see
As a system administrator at Schwegmann Filtrations-Technik
- Completed training in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in system administration, ideally with SAGE ERP systems
- Sound knowledge in the administration of SQL databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience in programming and automation with VBA
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office world (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Basics in dealing with servers, networks and firewalls
- Very good problem-solving skills and a structured, independent way of working
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
