Around 140 young badminton talents from the U11 to U19 age groups, along with their coaches and parents, gathered for the first Schwegmann Junior Cup<\/strong> in Remagen. In addition to numerous players from Rhineland-Palatinate, participants from Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rheinhessen-Pfalz, Bavaria, and Lower Saxony also took part. The tournament featured exciting matches and top-level athletic performances.<\/p> \n\n

After a total of 320 matches and a lively awards ceremony, the premiere was deemed a complete success. Neither the organizing club, BC Remagen<\/strong>, nor we as the sponsor had expected such overwhelmingly positive feedback from the children, coaches, and parents.<\/p> \n\n

In cooperation with the Badminton Association of Rhineland<\/strong>, the young athletes not only received attractive material and cash prizes but were also able to earn valuable points for the German ranking list<\/strong>. This makes the Schwegmann Junior Cup currently the only tournament of its kind in the Rhineland.<\/p> \n\n

Special thanks go to BC Remagen<\/strong>, its sponsor Dunlop<\/strong>, as well as the Badminton Association of Rhineland<\/strong> and the participating clubs for their excellent collaboration. Thanks to their commitment, our first sponsorship project in youth badminton was a great success.<\/p> \n\n

We are already looking forward to the second edition of the Schwegmann Junior Cup<\/strong>, which will take place in 2026.<\/p> \n\n
