Metal wire cloths have the same structure and function as a textile monofilament screen cloth. The wires of a metal wire mesh also cross at right angles, constantly alternating between overflow and underflow. This creates a mesh with a square mesh shape, on the surface of which particles of a defined size can be retained. The standard roll widths are between 100 and 150 cm wide.
