SCHWEGMANN JUNIOR CUP 2026 – Supporting Young Talent with Passion!
The SCHWEGMANN JUNIOR CUP keeps growing! After almost 140 young players, together with coaches and parents from all over Germany, travelled to Remagen for the first edition, the number of participants rose again for the second edition: 153 players from more than 30 clubs and four federal states provided exciting, high-level badminton matches at the Rheinhalle Remagen on 3 and 4 October 2026. Almost 300 matches were played in total.
As sponsor and namesake, we are particularly delighted about the sporting success of the host club, BC Remagen. Charlotte Haevescher won the U15 age group, Jolina Saftig claimed victory in the U19 category, and Erik Gebhardt also reached the U19 final. Two tournament wins and a runner-up title – congratulations on these outstanding achievements!
A big thank you goes to BC Remagen for the excellent organisation, as well as to all the players, clubs, coaches, parents and volunteers who made this tournament possible.
Special thanks also go to our club outfitter Dunlop, whose numerous prizes at the award ceremonies brought extra joy to the young athletes.
Why do we support this initiative? Because promoting young people, inspiring a passion for sport and strengthening our region are causes that matter to us. The SCHWEGMANN JUNIOR CUP combines sporting ambition with community spirit and shows how much can be achieved through dedicated clubs and strong regional partnerships.
The positive response encourages us to continue on this path together with BC Remagen. Planning for the third edition in autumn 2027 is already underway. We are looking forward to it!
